These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.
The Specialist - Responsible Sourcing supports the development and management of programs that advance the organization’s Responsible Sourcing objectives. This role works with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external organizations to support program execution and strengthen stakeholder engagement. The Specialist gathers and interprets data, monitors program metrics, and provides insights that help evaluate progress toward established goals. The role also supports events, partnerships, and administrative activities that enable the effective operation of Business Diversity programs.
Core Accountabilities
Assist with the day-to-day coordination of relationships with partner organizations.
Coordinate external partner activities, including national conferences, , meetings, and other program events.
Engage internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to support program participation and established objectives.
Support team operations through meeting coordination, calendar management, budget administration, documentation, and related administrative activities.
Please note: This is a Chicago-based, hybrid role with an in-office requirement of 2-3 days per week. This role requires occasional travel (approximately 20%)
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree.
1+ years of relevant experience in responsible sourcing, , strategic planning, project management, or a related area.
Ability to own department operations, budgets, special projects and provide administrative support.
Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Strong listening skills and the ability to consider and incorporate multiple viewpoints.
Creative, solutions-oriented approach with a willingness to explore new ideas.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to provide timely communication
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience working with suppliers, external, or internal stakeholders
Background in strategic planning, responsible sourcing or project management.
Experience coordinating events, conferences, or internal meetings.
Familiarity with performance reporting.
The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
