As a pricing analyst mid or senior on the Complex States Pricing team in Property, you’ll use knowledge of actuarial techniques to calculate pricing levels on products by state. Collaborating with your team, you’ll make recommendations and implement changes to state product design, rating factor relativities, and rate levels. Your recommendations will influence our ability to remain a competitive insurance choice for our customers.

This is a remote position with occasional travel for training and meetings.

Minimum qualifications

A minimum of four years of analytical work experience.

{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience

{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience.

Preferred skills

Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Strong prioritization skills, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with the ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions, while being able to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Experience working with SQL, VBA, and Python, and advanced knowledge of Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, charts, graphs, and macros).

Compensation

$67,300-$108,500/year depending on position level and experience.

Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24%-30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
