As a data engineer data & AI Lead serving as a strategic technology partner for Commercial Lines Technology Group (CLTG) Services Platform, you'll help define how data and AI capabilities are designed, integrated, and scaled across CLTG. You'll partner with business leaders, architects, engineers, and enterprise technology teams to develop data-driven solutions that enable advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent applications. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor on the intersection of data, AI, and business capabilities.
You'll help teams design modern data architectures, establish scalable data foundations, and incorporate AI capabilities into new and existing applications. You'll work closely with enterprise partners and business collaborators to identify opportunities, evaluate solution approaches, and guide implementation strategies that deliver measurable business value. You'll also champion best practices for data management, architecture, and responsible AI adoption while helping teams build resilient, scalable solutions that support current and future business needs.
You'll influence technical direction, establish reusable patterns and frameworks, and help drive alignment across business and technology organizations.
This is remote position for U.S. based work only.
Must-have qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of five years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
In lieu of degree, minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.
Preferred skills
Experience designing and implementing modern data architectures and enterprise data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and cloud-native data solutions.
Strong understanding of AI-ready data foundations, including data quality, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, metadata management, semantic models, data governance, and responsible AI practices.
Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications, business processes, and customer experiences using technologies such as Microsoft Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Amazon Bedrock, enterprise LLM APIs, and modern cloud platforms.
Ability to define enterprise data and AI strategies, data models, integration patterns, architectural standards, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures while balancing business needs, technical constraints, security, risk, and scalability.
Strong consulting, communication, influencing, and cross-functional solution leadership skills, including experience evaluating and prioritizing data and AI use cases and aligning business, architecture, engineering, security, and governance teams around measurable outcomes.
Compensation
$148,000 - $164,800/year
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
