Overview
Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and delivering results? Savoy Associates, a RPS, is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth by developing strategic partnerships with employee benefits brokers throughout an assigned territory.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business revenue by identifying, recruiting, and cultivating broker relationships while positioning Savoy as their preferred general agency partner. Through your expertise in employee benefits, strong market knowledge, and consultative sales approach, you will help brokers grow their business while delivering exceptional service and resources that differentiate Savoy in the marketplace.
How you'll make an impact
Generate new business revenue by identifying, prospecting, and developing relationships with employee benefits brokers and agencies.
Expand broker engagement and increase market share through consistent outreach and relationship-building activities.
Promote Savoy's comprehensive portfolio of employee benefits solutions, including medical, ancillary, and complementary coverage offerings.
Become a trusted advisor by educating brokers on carrier solutions, market trends, underwriting strategies, and emerging industry developments.
Deliver Savoy's signature concierge service model by providing value-added resources, expertise, and solutions that help brokers better serve their clients.
Conduct broker meetings, workshops, webinars, and continuing education programs to increase awareness and drive business growth.
Train brokers and their teams on leveraging Savoy's products, technology platforms, and service capabilities to improve efficiency and support client retention.
Collaborate with internal business development, sales support, carrier relations, and operations teams to ensure a seamless broker experience.
Identify new market opportunities, targeted prospect segments, and growth strategies within the territory.
Develop and maintain relationships with carrier partners, industry associations, and professional organizations to enhance business development efforts.
Attend carrier trainings, industry conferences, and networking events to strengthen market presence and expand professional relationships.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, carrier updates, competitive intelligence, and regulatory developments impacting the employee benefits marketplace.
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
Preferred: Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM.
Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
