Job Overview and Responsibilities

This Logistics Services Performance Analysis Manager role is responsible for leading a team that supports the Logistics Services Organization with project-based and adhoc performance analysis including monitoring performance related to continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring performance related to new process implementations, business case analysis, identifying opportunities, root cause analysis and developing performance leadership report outs.

This role will also support the team in building, refining, maintaining and managing performance tools within the Logistics Services organization. To develop performance tools the team translates business requirements from operations leaders to technical requirements. This team is responsible for managing training / change management programs related to tool developments and updates. The team will strive to reduce manual work, by automating more of our performance tools and business processes.

Supports operation performance analysis by completing adhoc monitoring project performance, identifying areas of opportunity, carrying out root cause analysis and developing performance report outs

Lead development of automated performance tools for the Logistics Services team

Support training / change management programs related to operational use of performance tools through direct engagement with stations (frontline through leadership)

Manages projects by drafting project plans, maintaining action/issue log and communicating status to steering committee on a regular basis

Gathers and documents detailed requirements in accordance with customer needs

Supports building of strategic partnerships to accelerate innovation, learnings and implementation, in partnership with IT, DT and Data Engineering

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Supply Chain or equivalent relevant degree

4+ years experience in Operations Analysis based role

Technical Communication Skills

Statistical and Analytical Skills

Project Management Skills

Data Visualization and Design Experience

Advanced Knowledge in MS Office

Strong Leadership with Effective Oral, Written and Interpersonal Skills

Continuous Improvement Mindset

Proficient in writing queries using SQL or similar technologies/languages

Data Visualization experience with Power BI or adjacent programs

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

Master's degree

LSS Green Belt or Black Belt

6+ years experience in Operations Analysis

Airline Experience

Supply Chain or Warehousing Experience

Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them for research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to company policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.

The base pay range for this role is $102,220.00 to $133,194.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Supply Chain, or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience in Operations Analysis with skills in SQL, Power BI, data visualization, and project management
  • Strong leadership, technical communication, statistical analysis, continuous improvement mindset, and legal US work authorization
