About the Position: Performance Trust Capital Partners is seeking an Analyst for our Trade Operations (Trade Ops), Settlements group. The Trade Settlements team ensures accurate and efficient processing, support, and resolution for trade and settlement processes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are pursuing candidates with strong customer service and analytical skills to be an integral member of our collaborative team.

This individual will work closely with business lines and clients to manage trade settlements, post settlement breaks as well as special handling requests from the trade desk. We are seeking a candidate based in Chicago, IL. This role operates on Central Time, with core working hours of 7:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. CT.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for the following:

Own and lead the daily factor and coupon update (FCU) process end-to-end

Own and lead the daily collateral margin management under FINRA Rule 4210

Identify, research, and communicate FCU and collateral margin management discrepancies; coordinate resolution with counterparties, clients, and internal teams

Maintain and continuously improve process documentation and checklists for FCU and collateral margin management

Manage multiple customer and business line inquiries in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Monitor and action open items in alignment with the daily task tracker and process guide

Support general email, reporting, and ad hoc business processes on a daily and monthly basis

Build and maintain internal and external relationships; communicate effectively to deliver excellent client service

Proactively identify issues and propose solutions in day-to-day operations

Provide timely updates and escalate issues to the team manager

Cross-train with other areas within Clearing and Settlements

Align with the settlements team manager on new tasks as the department expands

Perform other duties as required

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree: Finance or Business preferred

Excellence in written and oral communication

Possess a strong attention to detail and demonstrates accountability and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial markets and instruments

1-3 years’ industry experience, ideally in middle office or back-office operations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (namely excel), some experience with Bloomberg preferred, not required

Prior experience with Pershing NetX360 is a plus

Oriented toward optimization and efficiency in process

License(s) Requirement: FINRA SIE and Series 7 licensed within 120 days of hire date

Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000. This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors.

All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
