What You'll Do: The Associate Principal, Investor Education (Creative & Digital Operations) owns the visual identity, video production, and supports the digital website experience for Investor Education and The Options Industry Council (OIC®), ensuring all content is on-brand, engaging and accessible. This role also facilitates Business Continuity, Management Self-Testing and Compliance activities for the department, serving as the primary point of coordination between Investor Education and OCC's risk and compliance functions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Design & Brand Stewardship Serve as the primary owner of Investor Education's visual identity, ensuring consistent look and feel across web, email, social, print and event materials. Design digital and print assets, including presentations, infographics, email templates, social graphics, and event collateral when applicable. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, templates and style standards in coordination with OCC's corporate brand team.
Review creative work from vendors, agencies and internal partners for brand consistency prior to publication. Video & Digital Content Production Lead comprehensive video strategy for OIC website and social. Including planning, shooting, creating and editing video content (educational segments, webinar promos, event recaps, social clips) with support from Senior Associate, Investor Education. Manage the end-to-end video production process, including scripting support, storyboarding, filming logistics, editing, motion graphics and final delivery.
Partner with subject matter experts and instructors to translate options education content into engaging video and multimedia formats. Maintain a video content calendar aligned with Investor Education's broader marketing and event schedule. Digital Website Management & Accessibility Support day-to-day administration of OIC website, including content updates, page builds and site structure.
Understand, adapt and evolve the website experience to support the customer journey, aligning page flow, navigation and content with how users discover, engage with and act on OIC programs Ensure all website and digital content meets ADA/WCAG accessibility standards, including alt text, captioning, color contrast and screen-reader compatibility. Conduct periodic accessibility audits of digital properties and coordinate remediation with technology partners. Monitor website performance and user experience metrics, recommending improvements to content and navigation.
Business Continuity, Testing & Compliance Facilitation Facilitate Investor Education's participation in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning, including plan updates, testing exercises and after-action reporting. Coordinate Management Self-Testing activities for the department, including scheduling, evidence collection and remediation tracking for key and non-key controls. Serve as a liaison to OCC's Compliance and Risk functions, ensuring policies, procedures and job aids remain current and audit-ready.
Maintain documentation logs for compliance reviews, testing results and business continuity exercises. Identify and escalate control gaps or process risks within Investor Education's processes. Department Operations Serve as backup support for Investor Education event operations (on-site/virtual logistics, conferences), platform and technology configurations, and general departmental administrative tasks as needed. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (marketing, technology, compliance, risk) and external vendors/agencies.
Lead and/or participate in departmental and cross-functional projects and meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: When applicable, provide creative and technical guidance to departmental interns and junior marketing staff supporting video, design or website projects. Proven experience in video production and graphic/brand design, ideally within a corporate or financial services marketing function. Demonstrated experience managing website content and applying ADA/WCAG accessibility standards. Strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency across digital and print media. Effective written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proofread and quality-check content, designs and web pages for accuracy, consistency and brand/style adherence prior to publication.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments, including with compliance, risk, technology and external vendors. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities. Prior experience supporting Business Continuity, risk, audit or compliance-testing activities preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects). Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Figma).
Experience with content management systems (CMS) (Kentico preferred) and web accessibility testing tools. Working knowledge of HTML preferred, for building and troubleshooting website pages and email templates. Familiarity with compliance/GRC tracking tools or processes for control testing and issue management is a plus. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Design, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
