About the role
Manage a team of research and development professionals, overseeing research and development projects and studies in order to investigate relationships, solve technical problems, and develop new solutions for a specific application or within a specific branch of science.
Bachelor's Degree - Meat Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or related fields Minimum 8+ years Product Development Experience within a CPG or equivalent Strong understanding of key subject matter in areas such as ingredients, processing equipment, ingredient interactions, and food product laboratory test methods Self-motivated problem solver and the drive to deliver objectives in a complex environment. Excellent communication, influencing, project management and problem-solving skills Ability to lead, coach and motivate others Willingness to travel 15%.
Travel could include (but not limited to): United States to internal plants, co-manufacturers, and suppliers.
