Job Overview

Komatsu is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our Marketing and Engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating events and projects, and takes pride in creating a positive workplace experience for employees and visitors.

Key Job Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to Marketing and Engineering leaders and teams.

Coordinate meetings, catering, office events, employee celebrations, and special projects.

Manage office operations, including supplies, equipment service requests, mail distribution, seating arrangements, and facility-related needs.

Process invoices, purchase requests, sponsorship payments, and other administrative transactions.

Coordinate community sponsorships, advertising programs, and corporate engagement activities.

Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition events, and community outreach programs.

Manage company vehicle scheduling, driver approvals, and maintenance coordination.

Create content and communications for internal platforms, including Viva Engage and campus-wide announcements.

Coordinate logistics for customer, community, and employee events, including ticket distribution, catering, promotional materials, and event follow-up communications.

Qualifications/Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years of administrative, office management, event coordination, or related experience.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience processing invoices, coordinating vendors, and supporting budgets preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple departments

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $$54,000 - $64,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
