About the role

Job Description

As a Sr Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects. You will be responsible for overseeing project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Your strong project management skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Mega Projects, and you’ll work out of our location in Houston Tx or Rosemont, IL/DesPlaines on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact efficient project execution, risk management, cost control, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, communication, issue resolution, strategic planning, process optimization, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and mentoring. You are pivotal in ensuring project success, which, in turn, contributes to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure

Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation

Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables

Manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies

Coordinate project team members and stakeholders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders

Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or related roles

Experience in modular design and fabrication

Strong leadership and team management skills with proven ability to drive project success

Proficiency in project management software and tools, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Expertise in risk management, cost control, and quality assurance to ensure project delivery within scope and budget

Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders

WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable

Experience in leading and managing projects of varying complexity

Knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to adapt to changing project requirements

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $176,000 - $218,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $218,000 - $262,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
