Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

15 years of experience with systems development in database, systems, or AI.

15 years of experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as clustering, replication, and backups.

10 years of experience with database security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control.

10 years of experience leading technical initiatives internally and externally with industry partners.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience with ideation and innovating technology at scale, and passion for development and the use of cross-platform shared code.

In-depth knowledge of database technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex database issues.

Excellent product sensibility, with ability to convert and drive key product innovations and opportunities.

Take execution responsibility for major programs and drive them from concept to release.

Collaborate with Google cloud teams and Google DeepMind in developing state-of-art capabilities.

Lead and grow a team of technical leaders to achieve goals.
