Overview
We are seeking a remote Licensed Health Insurance Account Manager to service and support an established book of individual health insurance clients. This role will assume responsibility for managing client relationships and providing ongoing support for an existing ACA (Affordable Care Act) health insurance book of business.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and knowledgeable about individual health insurance products. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, assisting with plan reviews, enrollment support, policy questions, and annual coverage renewals.

Hours: M-F 9am - 5pm

How you'll make an impact
Serve as the primary contact for an established book of ACA health insurance clients.
Respond to client emails, phone calls, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Assist clients with evaluating and selecting health insurance plans during Open Enrollment and throughout the year when eligible.
Guide clients through ACA Marketplace enrollment and renewal processes.
Conduct annual plan reviews and assist clients in understanding their coverage options.
Maintain accurate client records and document interactions within Salesforce.
Resolve client concerns and coordinate with carriers, marketplaces, and internal teams as needed.
Follow up on outstanding enrollment activities and client requests.
Stay current on ACA regulations, plan offerings, and enrollment guidelines.
Maintain compliance with all applicable HIPAA, CMS, carrier, and company requirements.
About You
Required
Active Health and Accident Insurance License.
Previous experience working with ACA Marketplace or individual health insurance products.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage a designated client portfolio.
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Experience servicing an existing health insurance book of business.
Familiarity with HealthSherpa or ACA Marketplace enrollment platforms.
Previous client retention or account management experience.
Knowledge of subsidy eligibility and ACA enrollment regulations.
