Job Description: The Senior Account Manager will join our team to lead one of our longest-standing retail clients. In this high‑visibility role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for the client, partner agencies, and internal Merkle teams—playing a central part in driving partnership success. You’ll maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service, creating value, and bringing a polished, solutions‑oriented approach to every interaction. As the Senior Account Manager, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day execution of our clients’ marketing strategies.

This role is highly collaborative, requiring close partnership with key client stakeholders as well as cross‑functional Merkle teams. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between groups to ensure seamless execution, clear communication, and alignment with business goals. Your leadership in managing timelines, deliverables, and support activities will directly impact both client success and Merkle’s continued growth. This is a hybrid opportunity and reports to the Senior Account Director.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day client and internal delivery team interactions Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders and cross-functional Merkle teams Ensure all campaign schedules, scopes, and processes are clearly defined, communicated, and followed Lead internal and external client meetings Manage the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all client deliverables Provide leadership, clarity, and guidance to cross-functional delivery teams Maintain an understanding of the broader account strategy to inform execution and team alignment Clear

understanding of client goals to disseminate information to the appropriate parties for execution Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required 5+ years related agency experience, specifically within digital marketing or marketing operations Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading cross-functional teams Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication, organization, and meeting management skills Experience supporting large, complex retail or enterprise clients Additional Information The annual salary

range for this position is $82,800 -$108,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Our hybrid way of working combines remote flexibility with regular in-person collaboration to spark ideas and strengthen our teams. Many of our employees who live within commuting distance (90 minutes) from one of our Headquarter or Hub Offices (New York, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles) are required to work in the office 2-3 days per week including one Team Day. The minimum number of days may vary by office and role. Dentsu may designate other HQ or Hub offices at any time. Those who do not live near an office may be designated as a remote employee, depending on the role and business needs.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years agency experience in digital marketing or marketing operations
