The Consultant role is a mid- consulting position. This position requires highly motivated problem solvers with solid analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a desire to advance within the organization. The work will involve leading and executing engagement work streams that may be either qualitative or quantitative in nature, and responsibilities include design of statistical and financial analysis, modeling of financial data and markets, quality control, development of client deliverables, task delegation, and industry research.
This position is based in one of our BRG offices (Boston, Chicago, DC, New York, Nashville, or Tampa) working with colleagues in the office three to four days a week, on average.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage various aspects of small to medium sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets, and other files as dictated by project needs.
Perform and lead detailed research and analysis.
Lead and develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
Provide valuable contributions to client deliverables and expert reports.
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA with a focus in quantitative analytics (accounting, finance, economics, information systems, mathematics) or related field;
3-5 years of prior work experience or educational background in data analytics; prior experience in healthcare/litigation consulting is highly preferred;
Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in either SQL or R at an advanced level is required; Proficiency in additional programming languages (Python, STATA, SAS, etc.) is considered a plus.
Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
Consultant Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000 per year
