About the Maleiha Carino Foundation The Maleiha Carino Foundation (MCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to childhood leukemia research, patient support, and educational scholarship. Founded in 2021, MCF operates four core programs: - Maleiha Carino Scholarship — annual merit-based awards for students impacted by leukemia - R&D Partnership with UIUC — supporting early-stage childhood leukemia research - Volunteering & Networking — community engagement and mentor-mentee programming Our mission is rooted in compassion, equity, and action. Join us in making a difference. Hands-on nonprofit marketing experience with real deliverables - Letter of recommendation from the Executive Director upon successful completion - Mentorship and guidance from MCF leadership - Academic credit support — we will work with your institution’s requirements - A portfolio-worthy body of work: social posts, emails, event materials, and more - The opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a mission you believe in 10 Week Internship with 10-15 hours a week commitment.
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field Strong written communication skills Comfortable working independently in a remote setting Proficiency with basic digital tools (Canva, Google Workspace, or similar)
