Manager, Sales Enablement - Multi Location Sales
About the role
Summary
Yelp is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to lead our team of Sales Enablement Specialists supporting the Emerging and Partner & Agency Sales teams. This position is both strategic and hands-on: you’ll set team priorities, refine processes, and ensure high-impact enablement that aligns with business goals. The Sales Enablement Manager will be revenue-focused, working in partnership with sales leadership to develop programming that aligns with sales strategies to drive sales outcomes, including increasing rep productivity rates and increasing GTM proficiency.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing and scaling enablement teams, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset with a passion for data and innovation—including AI and best-in-class sales practices.
You’ll have the opportunity to build and lead your own team, develop curriculums for sales enablement (from online modules to in-person sessions), and own all aspects of content development, delivery, and measurement. You will act as a player-coach: setting team strategy, guiding day-to-day execution, and helping your direct reports grow their impact and careers.
This role reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Enablement, Multi Location Sales.
We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.
What you'll do:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Enablement Specialists, providing regular feedback, guidance, and support for professional growth
Set clear goals and priorities for your direct reports; ensure alignment with the broader sales enablement strategy
Oversee the design, execution, and measurement of enablement initiatives (classroom and virtual) for Yelp’s B2B sales teams
Partner with cross-functional leaders across sales, customer success, product, marketing, and operations to ensure enablement materials meet business needs
Guide team efforts to iterate and maintain enablement content, including curriculum, internal wiki, and communications
Champion best practices, AI, and emerging trends in enablement—driving continuous improvement for both your team and the business
Develop and report on team and program metrics to demonstrate effectiveness and ROI
Gather feedback from stakeholders and use data-driven insights to improve and innovate enablement offerings
What it takes to succeed:
This is a people management role. You must have demonstrated experience directly managing and developing teams, not just leading projects or initiatives.
5+ years people management experience within sales, sales enablement, or a related discipline; proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team
3+ years in Sales Enablement, with success building and scaling learning programs, curriculum, and enablement operations
Demonstrated experience developing enablement materials for a variety of learning modalities (instructor-led, eLearning, self-directed)
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with a collaborative, empathetic leadership approach
Track record of cross-functional partnership and influence across large, distributed organizations
Experience designing, launching, and scaling enablement tools or programs (including AI solutions) for broad adoption
Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills; detail-oriented and data-driven
Demonstrated ability to assess team and program performance, and communicate ROI to stakeholders
Relevant industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, or related areas a plus
Experience in advertising sales is strongly preferred
What you'll get:
Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental
15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday
Up to 14 weeks of parental leave
Monthly wellness subsidy
Work from home reimbursement
Flexible spending account
401(k) retirement savings plan
Employee stock purchase plan
Compensation range for this position is $150K - $155K annually.
