About the role
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President, Technology Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of a portfolio of pharmacy health technology products, including clinical decision platforms, data-driven solutions, and AI-enabled workflow tools. This leader will operate at the intersection of pharmacy, healthcare, technology, and innovation, translating clinical and market needs into differentiated, scalable products that drive measurable outcomes.
Reporting to executive leadership, this role is a key partner in shaping enterprise strategy, advancing AI capabilities, and driving platform transformation within regulated pharmacy healthcare environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership Define and own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap across the pharmacy health technology portfolio. Ensure alignment of product strategy with organizational, clinical, and commercial objectives. Oversee the full product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery and optimization.
Drive differentiation through innovation, data, and AI-enabled capabilities. 2. Executive Leadership & Organizational Impact Lead and develop senior product leaders, managers, and high-level professionals. Serve as a strategic partner to the Segment GM and executive team, contributing to corporate strategy and planning. Represent product strategy in executive reviews, board discussions, and investor forums. Drive business-wide initiatives, including digital transformation, growth strategy, and M&A evaluation. 3.
AI & Innovation Leadership Develop and operationalize responsible AI strategies, including generative AI, NLP, intelligent search, and related technologies. Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can improve clinical workflows, research productivity, and decision-making. Ensure AI solutions are transparent, compliant, and clinically safe. 4. Platform Transformation & Product Delivery Lead next-generation platform initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and user-centered design.
Partner with engineering, data, and design teams to deliver high-quality product releases on time. Establish and monitor KPIs, success metrics, and adoption benchmarks. 5. Customer & Market Leadership Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, competitive developments, and regulatory shifts to guide product direction and maximize profitability. Maintain a deep understanding of clinician, researcher, and healthcare workflows. Lead voice-of-customer programs, advisory boards, and market research initiatives. Conduct competitive analyses and market assessments to identify growth opportunities.
Serve as an external thought leader representing Wolters Kluwer at industry events and with strategic partners. 6. Commercial Enablement & Partnerships Collaborate closely with product development, sales, content, technology, marketing, and partnerships teams to develop go-to-market strategies. Translate product value into compelling commercial and customer narratives. Evaluate and support strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities. 7.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all products meet applicable healthcare regulations, data privacy requirements, and clinical safety standards. Partner with legal, compliance, and clinical SMEs to establish governance frameworks and mitigate risk. Champion ethical, fair, and trustworthy AI and data practices. 8. Operational Excellence & Resource Management Own product-level P&L performance, including revenue targets, product and content investments, pricing strategies, resource allocation, and cost management.
Lead large-scale budget planning, prioritization, and investment decisions. Remove organizational barriers and drive cross-functional execution. Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in a matrixed corporate product management environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in pharmacy, health technology, life sciences, or clinical research platforms. Demonstrated success delivering complex, large-scale digital platforms or SaaS products.
Experience leading AI/ML-enabled products, including generative AI applications. Strong executive presence with experience partnering with C-level stakeholders. Track record of leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives. Deep knowledge of modern product management practices, including Agile, Lean, Design Thinking, and data-driven decision-making. Experience building and scaling high-performing product organizations. Proven success translating pharmacy healthcare technology market needs into innovative product solutions.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with M&A diligence and integration. Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions within regulated environments. Technical fluency or prior experience in technical product management. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) or relevant consulting experience.
