Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting North America is looking for a Major & Strategic Account Executive (MAR) to join our Research & Advisory team in a remote home office! The Major & Strategic Account Executive (MAR) is a senior sales role with TAA Research & Advisory, reporting directly to the Divisional Sales Manager. The MAR is responsible for the retention and renewal of a major accounts list within the region (our highest value accounts) and also for the acquisition of new customers. \*Ideal candidates may work from a remote home office location.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manages an existing account portfolio of current customers across the region Is responsible for renewing the annual contracts of those existing accounts and for adding new products and services onto the contract Actively prospects a named account list of 150-200 prospect accounts (accounts that do not have a current digital subscription with TAA R&A) Across the current customer list and the prospect list, a Major Account Manager is responsible for managing between 200 and 300 current or prospect accounts, depending on the size and value of

current customer portfolio Develops and executes an annual Business Plan, which will define the strategy for hitting and exceeding a pre-determined retention rate of the beginning inventory (in the customer portfolio) and hitting the annual new sales goals as proscribed in the annual Compensation Plan.

Works closely with the Divisional Sales Manager to define the retention and new sales strategy for their portfolio, with a specific focus on the strategy to win the top competitive accounts within the given prospect list JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline OR equivalent years of relevant work experience Minimum Experience: 3 or more years of B2B Software/SaaS or subscription-based content sales Preferred experience: 5 or more years of software/SaaS or subscription-based content sales Tax & Accounting industry experience Other Knowledge,

Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Strong CRM management skills (Salesforce.com) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook & Teams) Strong strategic planning skills - ability to analyze regional data and write a major account strategy for portfolio TRAVEL REQUIREMENT There is no minimum requirement, however domestic travel mostly within the immediate region where appropriate and as necessary Our Interview Practices To maintain a fair and genuine hiring process, we kindly ask that all candidates participate in interviews without the

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.
