Position Summary

UIC Technology Solutions is looking for qualified graduate students to assist the software development team with full stack development. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in the field of software development, applying their knowledge to real world projects and be involved in the entire software development life cycle.

Duties & Responsibilities

API Development and Integration

API Testing and Debugging

Front end development

UI Component Testing and E2E testing

Code, Database and DB Query Optimization

Other assignments as required

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Admission to and good academic standing in a graduate degree program at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Computer Science Background

Previous experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful Web Services, SQL

Create developer documentation and user training manuals

Participate actively in daily stand ups and group meetings

Good problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal communication skills

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to work 20 hrs/week, summer and winter breaks strongly preferred.
