THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Manager, Value Realization & Transformation, will be a crucial role in quantifying, tracking and preserving the impact of Ulta’s most strategic and complex efforts. Through engagement with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization, this individual will become an expert in many of the facets of Ulta’s operations, particularly those impacted by the portfolio of strategic and transformational initiatives.

Through quantitative analysis, application of analytical frameworks, and synthesis of financial and operational insights, and advisory, this individual will become a strategic advisor to Ulta’s leaders.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

Analysis and development of business cases:

Develop Financial/Quantitative models to estimate bottom line impact of transformational and strategic efforts and translate into key financial measures (e.g., ROI, IRR, NPV, etc.,)

Conducting research to identify data points, assumptions, competitive intelligence, and benchmarks

Partnering with key stakeholders, including executives, officers, and subject matter experts to articulate value narrative for initiatives

Work with Analytics teams to establish testing and reporting needs, and partner with Finance to estimate incrementality of work

Conduct variance and retrospective root cause analyses against business cases

Presenting findings to leaders across the company:

Working across the organization to establish tracking mechanisms for business cases including financials, leading indicators, risks, and milestones

Create executive and team reporting and establish cadence for data refresh/sourcing

Synthesize impact based on health/status, risks, milestone achievement, stakeholder input, and leading indicator performance

Track actualization of business case

Present results and recommendations at initiative and leadership forums

Advising and partnering across the organization:

Develop value loss mitigation strategies in partnership with teams and subject matter experts

Build strong relationships and act as a thought partner to leaders across the company

Partner with teams leading to provide inputs into key enterprise-wide processes, such as Annual Business Planning, quarterly Financial forecasts, and ongoing funding releases

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Data & Analytics

4+ years of experience in management consulting or financial planning & analysis

Experience building financial models, financial analysis, and building analytical tools and dashboards

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and demonstrated financial acumen

Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills

Excellent time management, planning, management, and organization skills

Proactive self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment, manage multiple priorities, and make ongoing decisions with key stakeholder input

High level of proficiency in suite of Microsoft tools, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

High emotional intelligence and strong relationship management skills

This is a hybrid role that requires six days (6) per month in Bolingbrook IL.

The pay range for this position is $102,900.00 - $133,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
