THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for maintaining proper internal controls while timely processing vendor invoices and ensuring they are accurately matched with purchase orders and receipts. The role involves verifying payment terms, reconciling vendor accounts and resolving vendor payment issues. The Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Manager of Accounts Payable and is essential for ensuring smooth and timely operation of the company’s cash flow.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

Process and verify vendor invoices per payment terms for indirect goods and services.

Process invoices associated to purchase orders by completing a 3-way match.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

Regular and timely communication with vendors - requesting any additional information needed to process invoices, provide any information requested by vendors and answer inquiries regarding payments/discrepancies.

Aid in the maintenance of accurate vendor master data by communicating changes to appropriate teams.

Support invoice discrepancy process.

Review payment proposals to check for entry accuracy and necessary documentation.

Provide payment deduction support to vendors within 1-2 days of payment.

Assist with 3rd party and internal audits by providing supporting documentation.

Work on special assignments as assigned.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.

Minimum 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

SAP knowledge and Excel skills a plus.

Occasional overtime during evening hours and/or weekends required.

The pay range for this position is $20.87 - $28.85 / Hour with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
