About the role
UL Solutions is seeking a passionate and strategic leader to lead the product management function of Energy and Industrial Automation (E&IA). The role will report directly to the VP, Product Management, with close cooperation with the E&IA General Manager. This person will be accountable for accelerating revenue growth driven by following mega-trends:

Industrial Digitalization
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

2. Results driven - as we continue to expand into new market areas such as Asset TIC, Industrial Digitalization, AI and Cyber, the leader will need to align and engage stakeholders (internal and external) based on the priorities above

4. Process and investment discipline - effectively manage the product management process and the associated investment pipeline keeping stakeholders (leadership, staff, customers) appropriately aligned and engaged.
Responsibilities
Enhance the program elements of existing products and services that span multiple lines of business
Focus on identifying growth opportunities within E&IA scope of product and service offerings
Seek to advance standards development and lab capabilities; further supporting the COU in maintaining its leadership position and industry relevance
Continuously focus on increasing market share and net promotor score across service portfolio
Closely collaborate with COU Leadership, PE, Sales and Operations to identify opportunities for growth as well operational efficiency
Work closely with other COU Product Management leaders across the Industrial – TIC segment
Champion an engaged, inclusive and attractive work environment for UL employees with a winning culture
Establish and maintain strong knowledge of customers and competition
Maintain continuous overview of market trends and developments
Direct team on the overall enhancement and performance of existing COU offerings and programs
Lead special projects to address key gaps across the service portfolio
Develop and maintain a product/service management playbook
Collaborate with Strategy & Portfolio Innovation to drive an aligned strategy, focusing on growth
Ensure the right talent is in place to support the needs of the business
Collaborate with COU Pricing Manager to support price-point management, special pricing agreements, and strategic growth and margin expansion opportunities
Qualifications
University Degree (Equivalent to bachelor's degree) in related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
10 years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency including 5+ years of relevant management/leadership experience or demonstrated competency.
In-depth knowledge of Testing, Inspection, Certification market and industries within E&IA
Cross-functional expertise to architect and drive an integrated go-to-market plan
Experience with complex customer interactions, products, services and pricing
History of building strong people/teams
Global experience (culture, market, business practices, etc.)
Experience leading significant organizational changes
Ability to work in a matrixed organization
Innovative and strategic thinker
Approachable and engaging; able to build a culture of trust, inspiration, drive and growth
Skilled at identifying both disruptive and sustaining innovations

Total Rewards
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $168,300 - $224,300 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 30% of the base salary and a 30% RSU grant.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (20 days), holidays including 3 floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
