The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As a Lead Program Manager - Integrated Energy Strategy & Resilience on our Energy & Sustainability Team, you’ll define and advance Target’s enterprise approach for how energy technologies work together to support store needs, financial value, and operational continuity. You will lead the integrated portfolio strategy across solar, generators, fuel cells, batteries, microgrids, EV charging, utility considerations, and demand-side capabilities, establishing a consistent framework to determine which solutions, or combination of solutions, are appropriate by site.

You will own the enterprise resilience framework and strategic roadmap for onsite generation (generators, batteries, fuel cells and microgrids etc), including store segmentation, critical-load and outage-risk considerations, business models, investment criteria, and pilot recommendations. In partnership with dedicated asset, demand-side program, and controls technology owners, you will connect individual roadmaps, identify interdependencies and tradeoffs, and create an integrated view of portfolio priorities.

Those teams will retain accountability for detailed technical design, program operations, controls platform strategy, vendor execution, deployment, and asset performance. Leveraging site conditions, outage exposure, utility and market inputs, asset data, store operating requirements, and financial analysis, you will build integrated business cases, prioritize opportunities, define pilot success criteria, and translate results into scalable roadmaps.

You will partner across Property Management, Utilities, Finance, Technology, Store Operations, Design, Construction, Sustainability, Procurement, program owners, and external solution providers. You are a systems thinker, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to translate complex technical, financial, and operational inputs into clear, decision-ready recommendations. Job duties may change due to business needs.

Bachelor’s Degree, BA/BS (MBA or advanced degree preferred) Minimum 7 years business experience in energy, utilities, facilities, engineering, resilience, sustainability, finance, technology, or a related field Proven ability to design, communicate, and advance enterprise strategy from ambiguity through roadmap, governance, and execution Experience integrating multiple asset, technology, or infrastructure roadmaps into a cohesive portfolio strategy Strong understanding of energy infrastructure, distributed energy resources, batteries, microgrids, and operational resilience; working knowledge

of demand-side programs and controls Proven ability to develop integrated business cases, evaluate ownership and financial tradeoffs, and use data to drive investment decisions Experience with portfolio segmentation, site archetypes, criticality or risk assessment, opportunity prioritization, and pilot design Cross-functional team leadership experience and ability to influence without direct authority Ability to manage complex programs, set timelines, identify risks, and meet deadlines Strong analytical, financial, reasoning, and organizational skills Excellent verbal, presentation, and

written communication skills, including executive-level communication Ability to negotiate tough situations, maximize relationships, and influence peers, senior leaders, and external partners This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
