About the role
Remote - United States
Reddit is a community of communities. It's built on shared interests, passion, and trust, and is home to the most open and authentic conversations on the internet. Every day, Reddit users submit, vote, and comment on the topics they care most about. With 100,000+ active communities and approximately 130 million daily active unique visitors, Reddit is one of the internet's largest sources of information.
Moderators are central to making Reddit's communities thrive. We're looking for a Senior Community Lifecycle Manager to build programs that educate, engage, and reactivate moderators, from creating a subreddit to growing an established community.
Reddit's Community Lifecycle function is continuing to evolve, giving you the opportunity to strengthen its technical foundation and shape how the team scales its programs. You'll partner with lifecycle strategists who lead audience strategy, value propositions, and messaging, while owning the channels, systems, and campaign operations that bring that strategy to life.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll shape channel plans, build campaigns, and work through the data and technical details required to launch them across email, push notifications, and Reddit's on-platform channels.
What you'll do
Own channel strategy and end-to-end campaign execution, including building, QA, launch, measurement, and optimization
Build email campaigns in HubSpot and push campaigns using Reddit's first-party tools
Improve the data, segmentation, automation, and dynamic content capabilities that power moderator communications
Design experiments using treatment and control groups, then translate results into iterative test plans
Partner with lifecycle strategists to bring audience, messaging, and community growth strategies to market
Work with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to improve existing tools and develop new ways to reach moderators
Monitor campaign performance and email engagement health, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high-quality operations
Establish the processes and technical standards needed to scale Reddit's moderator lifecycle programs
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in lifecycle, email, growth, or marketing technology roles, with significant hands-on campaign execution experience
Experience building multichannel lifecycle programs for B2C or B2B2C audiences
Hands-on experience building and launching campaigns in HubSpot or a similar marketing platform
An understanding of marketing data infrastructure and the ability to read and write basic SQL
Experience with A/B testing, campaign measurement, and performance analysis
Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
A self-starter who can create structure, solve technical problems, and build from zero to one
Familiarity with Reddit and a genuine community-first mindset
Bonus points for HTML or CSS knowledge.
