Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Fraud, Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary The Opportunity As a Investigations & Forensics Senior Associate you will focus on identifying and preventing fraudulent activities, conducting investigations, and confirming compliance with regulatory requirements within our Forensic Services practice.
As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, build meaningful client connections, anticipate team and client needs, and use critical thinking, data, and a range of methodologies to support investigations and regulatory enforcement work. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to workstreams that address fraud, investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters while developing your technical skills, growing your personal brand, and helping to guide junior team members through challenging client situations.
Responsibilities - Conducting forensic investigations, fraud reviews, and regulatory enforcement support across client engagements - Analyzing financial records, transactions, and digital evidence to identify anomalies, patterns, and potential misconduct - Applying forensic accounting, evidence gathering, and data analytics methods to support case development and issue resolution - Drafting clear workpapers, summaries, and findings that connect facts, analysis, and recommendations - Coordinating assigned workstreams and tracking deadlines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple matters
- Reviewing documents, records, and source data to validate accuracy and identify gaps that affect case direction - Supporting regulatory response activities by interpreting guidelines, compliance requirements, and case-specific facts - Developing meaningful client relationships through timely updates, thoughtful follow-through, and responsive service - Guiding junior team members by reviewing task output, sharing technical knowledge, and offering practical feedback - Using critical thinking and professional judgment to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing case conditions What You Must
Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 3 years of experience What Sets You Apart - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance - Demonstrating forensic accounting or investigative analysis skills - Interpreting financial data, transaction patterns, and evidence - Using data analytics tools for fraud detection insights - Communicating findings clearly to diverse stakeholders - Supporting client engagements while
navigating ambiguity Travel Requirements Up to 60% Job Posting End Date The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
