The Senior Technology Sourcing Analyst supports sourcing strategies and transactions across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, AI, network, and technology services. The role provides advanced commercial analysis, leads defined sourcing activities, and develops recommendations that support negotiations, supplier decisions, and measurable value delivery.
Operating with greater autonomy than the Technology Sourcing Analyst, the Senior Analyst manages moderately complex sourcing events and renewals, analyzes supplier proposals and contract terms, and supports negotiations of technology agreements, including supplier-provided contracts, in partnership with sourcing leaders, Legal, and business stakeholders.
Success is demonstrated through accurate analysis, independent execution, proactive risk identification, clear stakeholder communication, and effective coaching of Analysts.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What You’ll Do:

Develop category and supplier insights using market trends, benchmarks, cost drivers, license or consumption data, and supplier performance information.
Translate analysis into recommendations that support category strategies, sourcing plans, renewals, and demand optimization.
Commercial & Negotiation Capability
Lead defined or moderately complex RFPs, renewals, supplier evaluations, and commercial workstreams; support sourcing leaders on larger or higher-risk transactions.
Develop pricing scenarios, cost and TCO models, negotiation materials, and supplier trade-off analyses across subscription, licensing, consumption, services, and hardware pricing models.
Review and support negotiation of technology agreements on supplier paper, including MSAs, SaaS and license agreements, order forms, SOWs, renewals, and amendments; identify pricing, scope, service-level, renewal, audit, termination, and transition risks for escalation.
Stakeholder & Influence Skills
Partner with Technology, Security, Privacy, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, coordinate reviews, and maintain sourcing timelines.
Analytical & Financial Acumen
Build and validate advanced pricing, benchmarking, savings, cost-avoidance, TCO, and scenario analyses; ensure assumptions are accurate and traceable.
Maintain value tracking and sourcing reporting and identify opportunities related to license utilization, consumption, consolidation, and contract compliance.
Risk, Governance & Compliance
Maintain complete sourcing and contracting documentation in accordance with procurement governance and audit requirements.
Identify commercial, contractual, operational, and supplier risks and recommend practical mitigation actions.
