How can you make an impact?

The Analyst, Commercial Operations plays a key role in enabling and optimizing third-party distribution channels through effective data management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This position partners with internal stakeholders and external distributors to ensure accurate data transmission, streamline operations, and support strategic channel initiatives.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What can you expect from the position?

1. Cross-Functional Channel Operations

Serve our Sales, Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, and external distribution partners. Support day-to-day channel operations by providing operational insight to help gain clarity on dispute escalations, providing robust data validation on adoption reports and billing activities

Conduct audits and analysis of 3rd party adoption reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities

1. Data Integrity & Reconciliation

Audit and maintain metadata accuracy for channel partners across systems

Track, document, and resolve data errors across multiple platforms

1. Process Improvement & Automation Initiatives

Drive continuous process transformation across channel operations and optimize the Billing Controls Initiative to increase overall departmental efficiency

Assist in the curation and maintenance of Salesforce (SFDC) data to ensure consistency and integrity

1. Operational Project Support & Subject Matter Expertise

Support critical operational initiatives by collaborating directly with external distributors, transaction managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding and distribution workflows

Provide backup support for rental and Amazon 3P processing and manage system and data updates as needed

1. Documentation

Develop and maintain process maps for key operational workflows to support efficiency and scalability

Build and maintain dashboards to support billing controls and operational visibility

We’re looking for someone with:

Bachelor's degree in related field or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables) and broader Microsoft Office Suite

Experience working with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Ability to manage, reconcile, and validate large datasets across multiple systems

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners

Proven ability to track errors, identify root causes, and implement solutions

Process improvement mindset with demonstrated experience identifying inefficiencies and driving operational enhancements

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Working knowledge of CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)

Basic understanding of data governance, metadata management, and system integrations

Preferred:

Familiarity with the course material distribution landscape within the Higher Education market

Experience with Business Intelligence querying and tools (e.g., SQL-based reporting, Alteryx)

The pay range for this position is between $49,500 - $80,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
