Senior Financial Analyst, Category Finance AFH&I at a glance….

The Senior Financial Analyst – Category Finance is an integral part of the Away From Home and Ingredients (AFH&I) Category Finance team, providing key financial analysis and insights to the AFH&I Business Unit. The AFH&I Category Finance team will own the P&L for the BU, and will work collaboratively with their Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations counterparts to drive the business forward.

What’s on the menu?

Partner with the Marketing and Sales organizations to understand and forecast the unconstrained demand for our products, both from an internal P&L perspective as well as external consumption and market share

Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales Finance teams on pricing and promotional strategies, and the financial and market share implications of such actions

Analyze P&L performance across volume, mix, pricing, trade, productivity, and investment drivers

Drive the calendar and agenda for key financial planning routines, including establishment and monitoring of KPIs for each of the BU’s key initiatives

Develop reporting packages for results which provide useful insights while driving efficiency and standardization across the platforms

Partner with Marketing and R&D teams within the BU to understand the long-term industry outlook for our sales channels, as well as strategic bets including innovation, renovation, and capital planning, and integrating those within our near-term forecasts as applicable

Assist on annual strategic planning process for both 1-year/3-year horizon; driving high quality cross-functional inputs and a balanced planning stance

Continuously evaluate the BU FP&A routines and ways of working for potential process improvement and drive implementation and execution of such proposals

BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required

2+ years of Finance related experience

Advanced Excel skills required

Prior finance, accounting, consulting, and/or FP&A experience preferred

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Strong PowerPoint, SAP, Tableau/PowerBI and Excel skills

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$89,800.00 - $112,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors

Minimum requirements

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of finance-related experience with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, SAP, Tableau/PowerBI, and analytical problem-solving
