As a Treasury Sales Support Associate Manager within the Commercial Bank Payment Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a new business model. Your responsibilities will include supporting onboarding requests through the Center of Excellence, thereby enhancing control and accuracy of the process, and ultimately improving the client experience.
As a meticulous leader and change agent, you will be expected to effectively communicate and execute the new strategy in a fast-paced environment, working with a strong sense of urgency to drive faster service level agreements (SLAs) and better outcomes for clients. Your role will require a working knowledge of Treasury Sales, the onboarding process, Billing and Pricing setups within the Commercial Bank, along with a proven track record of successful strategy deployment.
This position offers high visibility into the CB Payment Sales and necessitates a strong partnership with Sales and Implementation partners, as well as effective collaboration with Treasury Sales Segment leaders to foster a strong partnership between the Center of Excellence and the segment Associates.
Job responsibilities
Create an enhanced client experience by coaching the team to quickly and efficiently submit high quality requests
Build and sustain strong partnerships with Sales and Implementation partners, serving as a trusted, collaborative point of contact to accelerate onboarding, billing & pricing, and resolve issues quickly
Act as a change agent — championing new ways of working, influencing adoption across teams, and leading the organization through process and cultural change
Drive faster SLAs by streamlining workflows, removing bottlenecks, and instilling a sense of urgency across the team
Enhance the control environment by ensuring sales procedures are followed and identify any updates that are needed and help with the identification of gaps in sales procedures and become an expert on the process
Build and maintain internal partner relationships (e.g. sales, implementations, product, documentation, and technology) to help improve the process of submitting implementation requests for products or billing & pricing
Analyze reporting and prepare presentation materials to be shared with senior management, functional groups and other relevant stakeholders
Partner with subject matter experts and business partners to prioritize, drive and execute system enhancements or changes to policies and procedures
Collaborate with management on establishing and refining KPIs and reporting that help measure team goals and success criteria and responsible for creating and implementing a culture and process of continuous improvement
Manage team’s workload via active queue management by proactively identify and use any excess capacity the team may have, and conversely know when the team may need additional assistance
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
College degree
10+ years’ experience in Treasury Management sales, service or onboarding
Demonstrated ability to foster relationships across the organization, including strong partnership with Sales and Implementation partners
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, work under pressure and deadline, with a demonstrated sense of urgency
Proven ability to act as a change agent and drive process improvements that accelerate SLAs
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence, align stakeholders, and communicate clearly across all levels
Experience with MS Office suite, heavy Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
Prior management experience
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree
Superior analytical and quantitative and effective problem solving skills
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in Treasury Management sales, service, or onboarding
- Prior management experience with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven change agent with ability to drive process improvements and work efficiently under pressure
