Job Description

As a Product Expansion Vice President for J.P. Morgan Next (formerly known as Innovation Economy Card) within the Commercial Card business, you will lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a foundational owner on the team, you will leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that inspires cross-functional teams.

We are committed to serving the needs of all players in the Innovation Economy and Emerging Middle Market ecosystems—VCs, Founders, and portfolio companies. As part of our commitment, we are building a fit-for-purpose Commercial Card offering that not only meets the current needs of companies throughout their life cycle, but can also grow and evolve to continue providing greater enhancements and benefits to help IE and EMM clients run and grow their businesses most effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

Own activities across the end-to-end delivery, launch, and commercialization of the J.P. Morgan Next product, including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting.

Manage external partnerships critical to product development, ensuring partner accountability, transparency, and a strong influence on the partner roadmap.

Foster internal relationships essential for facilitating the J.P. Morgan Next product offering while identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance efficiency and coordination across relevant product, tech, and operational teams.

Develop a deep understanding of the technical specifications and benefits of the new solution, effectively communicating these benefits to customers, business, and technical colleagues.

Maintain high visibility across product timelines and dependencies, monitor and eradicate blockers, ensure adequate resourcing, and liaise with stakeholders and functional partners.

Drive change management initiatives across functional partners, ensuring compliance with the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Deliver periodic business updates to a diverse set of internal stakeholders, including Product teams and executives, Technology teams, Client segment leadership, Governing bodies, and Functional partners (e.g., Legal, Risk, Controls, Compliance, Finance, and Business Management).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering high-impact and large-scale products, projects, or technology applications.

Experience building, launching, and managing payments products with external partners.

Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking about data products and their impacts on business objectives to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to lead complex operational management and change readiness at scale.

Demonstrated ability in managing cross-functional dependencies and know-how to implement products at scale and within committed timelines.

Knowledge of direct exposure to the Innovation Economy and Emerging Middle Market with an in-depth understanding of the needs of companies from start-ups to advanced growth stages.

Strong understanding of the complexities of releasing a product in a highly complex regulatory and controls environment.

This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMorganChase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years experience delivering large-scale products, projects, or technology applications.
  • Experience building, launching, and managing payments products with external partners.
  • Strong knowledge of Innovation Economy, Emerging Middle Market, and regulatory compliance in product releases.
