Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Change Execution Management Lead and help drive transformational change at scale. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we execute strategic initiatives, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex, cross-functional deliveries that directly impact clients and frontline teams. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across product, sales, service, onboarding, and control functions in an environment that values ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
As a Change Execution Management Lead- Vice President in the JPMorgan Chase Payments team, you will act as a senior individual contributor leading change execution, enablement, and readiness across multiple complex initiatives. You will convert strategic priorities into actionable plans, align stakeholders across Product, Sales, Onboarding, Service, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Controls, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery.
You will lead governance processes, including tollgates, executive reporting, and decision tracking; drive disciplined execution through tools such as Workfront; and ensure initiatives are launched with strong operational readiness, effective communication, and measurable results. You will demonstrate executive presence, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and maintain a strong sense of ownership.
Job responsibilities
Lead change execution for a portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring consistent governance, delivery discipline, and readiness outcomes across programs.
Establish clear execution standards, including plans, milestones, tollgates, risk, issue, action and dependency management, and drive adherence across stakeholders and delivery partners.
Identify, track, and drive completion of deliverables, ensuring clear ownership, due dates, and closure discipline.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Product, Sales, Implementations and Onboarding, Service, Marketing, Technology as needed, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Controls.
Facilitate senior-level discussions to align priorities, resolve constraints, and secure timely decisions while balancing speed, client experience, and risk management; act as a trusted advisor by clarifying goals, shaping options, surfacing tradeoffs, and recommending paths forward to keep launches on track.
Own management reporting, stakeholder updates, and executive communications, ensuring clear status, risks, issues, decisions needed, and timeline impacts.
Run governance forums and tollgates, ensuring effective agendas, action capture, follow-ups, and documented outcomes; maintain disciplined tracking and documentation in Workfront and related tools to ensure consistent portfolio hygiene and audit-ready visibility.
Identify, assess, and escalate risks and issues early, ensuring mitigation plans are in place, stakeholders are aligned, and items are managed to closure.
Ensure changes meet operational readiness expectations, including service preparedness, onboarding and implementation readiness, sales enablement, marketing readiness, training, and communications where applicable.
Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Controls to ensure appropriate review, documentation, and governance throughout delivery.
Improve the change execution model by introducing scalable ways of working, simplifying governance where appropriate, and driving consistency across initiatives; apply automation and artificial intelligence capabilities to improve delivery efficiency, reporting quality, and transparency where approved and appropriate.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, usually demonstrated by 2 years in the role.
Seasoned experience in mortgage banking, capital markets, investor eligibility, or a related analytical field
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and product deployment within retail or business banking, lending operations, and product strategy and familiarity with risk and control frameworks, audit readiness, and compliance with investor and regulatory standards
End‑to‑end process management: analyze as‑is processes, map process flows, identify gaps, design to‑be states, and implement improvements using industry‑standard practices, tools, and measurement plans
Strong project leadership and quality discipline; interpret investor requirements, decompose complex processes, build detailed workflow maps, and convert inefficiencies into actionable solutions with high attention to detail
Excellent time management and planning; coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously; self‑directed, collaborative, and creative with strong influencing and communication skills across all stakeholder levels; proven ability to build partnerships and deliver results
