Minimum qualifications:

In this role within the Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group, you will focus on Compute Infrastructure, specifically steering the core Compute Engine suite. You will guide critical operational choices, such as feature sequencing and rate calibration, while delivering bottom-line visibility through profitability assessments. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to support commercial rollouts, new launches, and balanced capital deployment.

Responsibilities
Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Google Compute Engine product portfolio, providing in-depth analysis to optimize financial performance.
Manage product strategy through monthly and quarterly gross margin reviews and financial forecasting.
Partner with Product Management and Finance teams to drive business decisions, including product roadmap prioritization, internal and external pricing, and optimizing customer discounts.
Support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives and New Product Introductions (NPI) by conducting unit economics analyses and Profit and Loss impact assessments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Align Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Operating Expenditure (OpEx) investments with demand and contribute to efficient resource allocations by partnering with Capacity and Product Finance teams.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of FP&A, consulting, or related experience with full-cycle budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL.
