Solution Campaign Marketing Director
About the role
FICO (NYSE: FICO) is a leading global analytics software company, helping businesses in 100+ countries make better decisions. Join our world-class team today and fulfill your career potential! The Opportunity This position is a great opportunity for a strategic, creative, and AI-savvy marketer with a proven track record of designing and executing multi-channel enterprise B2B marketing programs that start conversations and drive and accelerate pipeline at scale.
This director owns solution campaign marketing for North American growth accounts— the broad base of prospect and early-stage accounts across FICO's target industries. The mandate is to build interest, awareness, and qualified pipeline across that account universe so that accounts land, generate initial ARR, and earn a place in our Pod-based ABM program. This role is the engine that feeds the Pods, which are responsible for expansion of our FICO® Platform solution across our existing customer accounts.
What You’ll Contribute Serve as the strategic solution campaign marketing lead for all NorAm growth accounts. You’ll set priorities and orchestrate execution, collaborating with FICO’s digital, value messaging team, events, and SDR teams without direct management authority — requiring strong influence and coalition-building skills. Design and execute well-orchestrated, scalable multi-channel campaigns incorporating email, webinars, advertising, tradeshows, and other 1:Many tactics to create awareness and interest across account base and convert it into qualified pipeline.
Candidates should be equally strong across both disciplines; and all campaigns will be AI first. Define and run the account journey from first touch to "Pod-ready": build and manage a consistent set of criteria and handoff process, in partnership with sales and Pod leadership, for when a landed account with initial ARR graduates from campaign-based coverage into a Pod for ongoing ABM. Own marketing-sourced pipeline, new-logo, and initial-ARR targets across assigned account base, and manage the allocated marketing budget against those targets.
Bring a point of view on how AI can be used to generate qualified pipeline beyond content creation at scale — including approaches such as predictive or intent-based lead scoring, AI-driven account prioritization and next-best-action recommendations across a large account universe, and AI-assisted SDR workflows or automation. Hands-on implementation experience is not required, but candidates who can speak credibly to what they’ve tried, what worked, and what didn’t will be strongly preferred, as this person will help shape our broader AI strategy for pipeline generation.
Apply scaled, 1:Many and 1:Few campaign strategies across the non-Pod account base —to build pipeline broadly and surface the accounts with the strongest signals for a Pod handoff. Build and maintain a strong partnership with NorAm Sales leadership and Pod leads, and nurture ongoing relationships with account managers, the SDR team, and other internal stakeholders. Develop messaging strategies and content for emails, webinars, and events, collaborating closely with product marketing and other stakeholders.
Partner with the events team to plan and execute outstanding tradeshows and customer-specific events (approximately 10–25% travel expected). Identify white-space growth opportunities across the assigned NorAm account base within the context of the fiscal sales plan and multi-year regional strategy, and build the pipeline of accounts ready to graduate into the Pod model. What We’re Seeking Deep knowledge of complex selling environments in the B2B technology world and what it takes to build brand and product awareness and pipeline.
10 to 15 years of progressive B2B technology marketing experience, with a demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic level and lead through influence rather than direct authority. Proven experience running scaled, always-on campaign engines (email, digital, webinars, tradeshows) across a large, diverse account base, and converting broad interest into qualified, sales-ready pipeline.
B2B technology marketing experience spanning FICO's core industries (banking, telco, and related sectors) preferred; familiarity with the competitive and regulatory landscape across these spaces is a significant advantage. Maturity and skill in collaborating with senior executives, customers, and sales teams to align on goals and work through business challenges. Creative skills in both communications and problem solving. Expertise in using metrics and marketing performance measurement to optimize results and ROI in a corporate marketing environment.
Strong experience using GenAI to develop demand generation and event content and personalize content to specific personas and accounts, and — ideally — broader experience exploring AI-driven approaches to pipeline generation beyond content creation (see above). Outstanding writing and presentation skills. A passion for technology, learning, and creativity. Knowledge and experience building demand marketing plans, and a clear point of view on how campaign-based demand generation and Pod-based ABM should hand off to one another as accounts mature.
