Position Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Backlog Leadership

Own and prioritize the product backlog for assigned LTCT workstreams, translating strategic business objectives into sequenced, high-impact deliverables.

Lead discovery and business process design sessions with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders; define user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done that stand up to E2E and UAT scrutiny.

Facilitate refinement, sprint and release goal setting, sprint demos, and validation of outcomes against acceptance criteria with delivery teams and business partners.

Ensure business feedback from sprint demos and hands-on partner testing is captured, dispositioned, tracked, and closed or escalated through the standard program process and tooling (e.g., Jira).

Serve as an escalation and decision point for requirements ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and emerging scope; bring options and a recommendation, not just the issue.

End-to-End Test & Hypercare Leadership

Define and lead the LTCT E2E test strategy and plan across workstreams, including scenario and test library design, entry and exit criteria, environment and data requirements, and traceability back to requirements.

Lead E2E test execution governance — daily triage, defect intake, severity and priority assignment, escalation paths, and readiness reporting to program leadership.

Plan and lead Hypercare: support model, staffing and rotation, intake and triage process, exit criteria, and transition to steady-state support.

Strengthen the connection between testing, cutover, and Hypercare so that defects, data issues, and process gaps are surfaced early, reducing late discovery and rework.

Partner with the QA function, DevOps, and workstream leads on environment usage rules, release and deployment sequencing, and cutover rehearsal planning.

Program Leadership & Governance

Provide backup leadership capacity across the LTO Platform team for scope control, CCB process definition and operation, test strategy, and other cross-program needs.

Lead or contribute to RAID management — identifying risks and dependencies early, proposing mitigations, and driving issues to closure.

Prepare and deliver concise, executive-ready recommendations, readiness assessments, and status communications for the Project Steering Committee (PSC), PMO, and Tech Council.

Progressively assume scope currently delivered by Crowe consultants; document design decisions, lead knowledge transfer, and build internal capability for long-term ownership.

Provide thought leadership and mentorship to Product Owners/BSAs, admins, and developers; influence stakeholders and hold leadership accountable to commitments.

Systems Planning, Integration & Deployment

Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and implementation of new business applications and enhancements to existing applications, primarily within the LTO platform.

Create use-case models, requirements specifications, data mappings, and interface diagrams to provide direction to development teams.

Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed IT systems and enhancements to aid management in making implementation and sequencing decisions.

Lead vendor evaluation and selection for IT business applications through a formal methodology.

Lead acquisition integration efforts to migrate data, systems, and business processes onto Deltek’s Salesforce and Marketing platforms.

Lead training, communications, and change management efforts for systems implementation projects, and provide post-implementation support.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

BA / BS in Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.

15+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, including significant time in a Product Owner capacity.

12+ years implementing and supporting sales, customer care, order processing, and / or billing systems in the High-Tech or Information Services industries; SaaS/Software company experience preferred.

Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end testing and Hypercare for at least one large, multi-workstream enterprise transformation program.

Experience transitioning scope from a systems integrator to an internal team is highly desirable.

High level of prior experience with Salesforce and billing systems implementations and operations is required. Salesforce Revenue Cloud / ARM or CPQ experience strongly preferred.

Membership in industry associations and/or Salesforce certifications desired.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Expert knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methods, including backlog management and release planning at scale.

Expert-level test leadership: test strategy, scenario and library design, entry/exit criteria, traceability, defect management, and readiness reporting.

Must be able to translate business requirements into well-formed technical and system requirements.

Strong experience implementing and supporting Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications, including integration patterns across quote-to-cash and ERP/HR systems.

Experience with cutover planning, deployment sequencing, and release management tooling and controls.

Experience performing cost-benefit and ROI analysis.

Strong experience with IT project management processes and approaches, including the ability to lead projects as needed.

Experience modeling business processes, data flows, and workflow processes.

Comfortable working with large data sets (data analysis and data mapping) and Business Intelligence tools.

Extensive knowledge of sales and lead-to-cash (LTC) business processes, including recurring, consumption, and hybrid pricing models.

Experience with AI and RPA technologies, including the ability to evaluate, implement, and integrate these solutions to enhance LTO processes and drive efficiency, with demonstrated adaptability in a rapidly evolving field.

Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, from junior developers to VP-level and above executives.

Adept at working with cross-functional business owners to prioritize a roadmap, leveraging data to arrive at mutually beneficial outcomes that deliver business value.

Compensation Info

The U.S. salary range for this position is $124,500.00-$219,500.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
