Supports product strategy and execution for the organization's Epic electronic health record (EHR) platform and related clinical informatics tools.
Manages assigned components of the product lifecycle for Epic-based solutions from ideation through delivery, partnering with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders to translate business and clinical needs into product requirements. Applies working Epic platform knowledge, user-centric design, and agile methodologies to support adoption, quality, and safety across informatics initiatives. A Brief Overview Contributes to product execution by supporting the development, configuration, and enhancement of Epic and related informatics products and tools.
Participates in research with clinical and business stakeholders, collaborates with cross-functional and technical teams, helps design workflows and user experiences, and supports the product development lifecycle. Applies Epic knowledge, agile methodologies, and informatics best practices to help ensure Epic-based solutions meet clinical, operational, and end-user needs. What You Will Do Supports the product owner for Epic and informatics solutions, building understanding of the clinical, operational, and competitive landscape.
Manages defined portions of the product lifecycle for Epic-based tools and workflows, from gathering ideas through prototyping, build, testing, and go-live. Helps create features, stories, and workflow designs for current and future Epic products based on clinical insights, stakeholder research, and Customer Experience (CX) needs. Translates strategic informatics goals into actionable product tasks and plans for assigned workstreams, including milestones and deliverables.
Partners with business, clinical, and operational teams to gather use cases and requirements, and helps translate them into Epic product requirements. Coordinates with technical partners across engineering, data science, integration, and architecture teams in an agile development process. Maintains risk and issue logs for assigned workstreams, helping identify, track, and escalate risks as needed. Supports workstream integration and alignment across clinical, technical, and operational groups, participating in and helping run cross-functional meetings.
Prepares status reporting on product progress, risks, and open decisions for leadership review, and builds relationships with key stakeholders. Supports testing procedures and documentation review for onsite, monthly, and quarterly Epic assessments. Partners with training and change management teams to support readiness, adoption, and feedback loops for Epic-based product releases. Supports product iteration planning, release scheduling, and roadmap updates for assigned areas.
For This Role You Will Need — Minimum Requirements 5-7 years of relevant work experience, including experience in healthcare informatics or health IT product/project management. Working Epic knowledge, including hands-on experience supporting, configuring, or working within Epic software, modules, or tools in a healthcare enterprise. Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Demonstrated ability to deliver healthcare technology project tasks on time and within scope. Solid problem solving and decision making skills. Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills. Solid execution and delivery skills (planning, delivering, and supporting). Ability to work with data to support actionable insight. Familiarity with change management and supporting user adoption of clinical technology.
Preferred Qualifications Epic certification(s) in one or more modules relevant to the role (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Beacon, Willow, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Professional Billing, HIM, MyChart, Beaker, Welcome Kiosk, Rover, Haiku, EpicCare Link, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Bridges, Reporting Workbench, Orders). Experience with project and workflow tracking tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Visio. Experience presenting to and building relationships with stakeholders across a large enterprise.
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.

Minimum requirements
