The College Board is a nonprofit organization that develops and administers standardized tests and curricula used in college admissions, including the SAT and Advanced Placement programs. It serves more than 7 million students annually, along with K-12 schools and colleges, to support the path from high school to higher education. Founded in 1899 (as the College Entrance Examination Board), the College Board is headquartered in New York City.
