About the role

What Customer Order Management contributes to Cardinal Health Customer Service is responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing customer business through contract administration, customer orders, and problem resolution. Customer Order Management is responsible for expediting orders by acting as a liaison in problem solving, research and problem/dispute resolution. Responsibilities Manage customer concerns from initial contact through final resolution to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Resolve customer issues ranging from routine requests to complex customer issues requiring detailed research and follow-up. Process customer orders, returns, and order-related inquiries. Conduct research and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution. Partner with Operations, Logistics, Pricing, Collections, 3rd Party, Sales, Retail National Accounts, and other cross-functional teams to resolve concerns. Support designated sales-related activities, including goodwill credit submissions within approved limits.

Manage aged and escalated cases to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred 2+ years of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred Proficient in navigating multiple systems to resolve customer inquiries Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with urgency What is expected of you and others at this level Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments In-depth knowledge in

technical or specialty area Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently May modify process to resolve situations Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members Anticipated hourly range: $19.20 per hour - $24.75 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
