About the role

WHO WE ARE Apex Fintech Solutions (Apex) powers innovation and the future of digital wealth management by building tech-forward solutions that help simplify, automate, and facilitate access to financial markets for all. Our robust suite of fintech software enables us to support clients such as Stash, Betterment, SoFi, Webull, and eToro, amongst many others; collectively, Apex powers access to the stock market for over 22+ million end customers.

At Apex, we are changing how the securities industry operates by reinventing the status quo, which was manual, slow, and accessible only by the ultra-wealthy. We're digitizing and democratizing systems so that everyone has an opportunity to invest. When you're at Apex, you drive this change. You're part of a global team with a clear vision: to be the trusted technology that powers the digital economy. Our offices in Austin, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Portland, Belfast, and Manila are home to over 1,000 employees. Together, we’re shaping the future of financial innovation. Embrace change.

Solve big. Win together. And be G.R.E.A.T. — grit, results, empathy, accountability, and teamwork — with Apex. We’re proud to be recognized for the innovative work we do, the purpose-driven nature of our work, and the collaborative culture we’ve created.

Here are just a few of the many awards we’ve recently received: Best Places to Work 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023 - Presented by BuiltIn WealthTech of the Year 2025 - Presented by US FinTech Awards The World’s Top 250 Fintech Companies 2024 - Presented by CNBC ABOUT THIS ROLE We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to own Apex's most complex programs end to end. You will plan and drive the work, keep engineering leaders and executives clear on status and risk, and partner directly with engineering and product on the technical and business trade-offs that shape delivery.

Duties/Responsibilities Own complex programs end to end. Plan and sequence the work, track dependencies, and escalate risks early with mitigation strategies. Translate business goals into program plans, independently validating scope and requirements across concurrent workstreams and surfacing gaps before they become execution risk. Keep your programs' plans, forecasts, and commitments current, and feed them into portfolio planning so capacity and sequencing decisions have accurate inputs.

Work with Legal, Compliance, Vendor Management, and Sales through established escalation paths, often coordinating several of these groups on the same timeline. Run stakeholder meetings and deliver clear status, forecasts, and risk reporting to engineering leaders, executives, and external partners. Track and report against delivery metrics for your programs, and use that data to drive prioritization and trade-off conversations. Partner closely with engineering and product on key technical and business trade-offs, and make sure program outputs meet the quality bar agreed in planning.

Improve the processes you work in, adopting the shared frameworks and tooling and contributing improvements back to them. Mentor program managers earlier in their careers on planning, stakeholder management, and executive communication. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in technical program management. Experience in strategic planning and business analysis. Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects or programs concurrently.

Required Skills/Abilities Proficient in the use of MS Office and other agile collaboration & work tracking tools (Jira/Linear, Confluence/Notion, Looker/Tableau or SQL, GitHub, Slack, etc.). Demonstrated technical fluency sufficient to engage credibly with engineering and architecture stakeholders on solution trade-offs. Outstanding organizational abilities and sound judgment under ambiguity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and executive audiences.
