Here are just a few of the many awards we’ve recently received: Best Places to Work 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023 - Presented by BuiltIn WealthTech of the Year 2025 - Presented by US FinTech Awards The World’s Top 250 Fintech Companies 2024 - Presented by CNBC ABOUT THIS ROLE As a Product Manager I in the Data Products group at Apex, you will own Insight, our client-facing platform where clients build their own reports and dashboards.

You will drive end-to-end delivery of the self-service reporting and visualization experience—from discovery through launch and iteration—turning how clients explore and act on their data into a product advantage. You will translate client and usage insights into clear requirements, prioritize the Insight feature backlog, partner with design and engineering, and measure outcomes such as report creation, dashboard adoption, and client satisfaction, under the guidance of senior product leaders.

Key Responsibilities • Own feature-level delivery within Insight—report builders, dashboard creation, visualizations, filters, scheduling, sharing, and export—driving discovery, writing clear PRDs/user stories, and defining acceptance criteria and success metrics. • Maintain and prioritize the Insight feature backlog; align work to the Data Products roadmap and OKRs; plan sprints and clarify scope for the team.

• Partner with design and engineering to explore solution options for self-service analytics (data visualization UX, query performance, the underlying datasets and semantic layer that power client reports), estimate work, sequence milestones, and remove day-to-day blockers. • Run lightweight research and experiments with clients (interviews, prototypes, usability tests on report- and dashboard-building workflows) to validate assumptions and refine requirements.

• Instrument Insight features and build usage dashboards; monitor adoption of reports and dashboards, data quality and accuracy, query/load performance, and client satisfaction; iterate based on data and user feedback. • Coordinate releases and go-to-market support (release notes, client enablement, rollout plans) with guidance from senior product leaders, partnering with client success and support teams who work directly with clients in the platform.

• Ensure quality and operational readiness: define acceptance criteria, support QA/UAT, and maintain client-facing user guides, in-product help, and runbooks—paying close attention to data correctness and trust, since clients make decisions on these reports. • Identify and surface trade-offs, risks, and dependencies early (including data availability, upstream pipelines, and performance at client scale); escalate appropriately and drive clear decisions.

• Communicate status, decisions, and changes to internal stakeholders and, where relevant, clients; document rationale and maintain up-to-date product artifacts. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field. • 2-4 years in product management in a technology environment. • Demonstrated experience owning feature delivery end-to-end (discovery, PRDs/user stories, launch, iteration). • Experience collaborating with engineering and design and participating in Agile ceremonies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Product discovery and user empathy: runs interviews, synthesizes insights, validates assumptions. • Requirements and backlog management: clear PRDs/user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog hygiene. • Data literacy: defines feature metrics, instruments basic analytics, makes data-informed decisions. • Technical fluency: understands API basics, UX principles, and delivery constraints;collaborates with engineering and design. • Communication and collaboration: clear written/verbal communication; aligns partners;surfaces risks early.

• Execution discipline: Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, iterative delivery; reliable follow-through. Preferred Qualifications: • Recognized Agile/Product certification (e.g., CSPO/PSPO/PSM or equivalent). • Experience in high-growth or startup environments. • Basic SQL/analytics and instrumentation; ability to build simple dashboards.

• Familiarity with web technologies and APIs; comfortable collaborating on developer-facing documentation #product management #associate #full-time #LI-SD1 #APEX Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
