What the day will look like
Financial Planning and Forecasting
Lead the annual operating plan, periodic forecast, and long-range planning processes for North America AGRC.
Develop clear revenue, salary, operating expense, and operating income outlooks based on current performance, business assumptions, pipeline activity, hiring plans, and operational drivers.
Partner with AGRC leaders to evaluate forecast risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable plans.
Maintain transparent bridges between actual results, forecast, operating plan, and prior-year performance.
Assess the timing and financial impact of growth investments, replacement hiring, attrition, and other workforce changes.
Ensure that forecast assumptions are supported by appropriate business drivers and are consistently reflected in financial systems and management reporting.
Business Partnership and Decision Support
Serve as a trusted finance partner to North America AGRC leadership and the broader Commercial Risk finance organization.
Provide financial insight on business performance, growth priorities, investments, productivity, and resource allocation.
Develop business cases for proposed investments, including expected revenue, cost, utilization, timing, payback, and margin implications.
Challenge business assumptions constructively and help leaders distinguish between baseline performance, committed growth, and incremental investment opportunities.
Coordinate with regional, practice, controllership, workforce planning, and global finance teams on issues that cross organizational or geographic boundaries.
Translate complex financial topics into concise, decision-oriented recommendations for senior leadership.
Performance Management and Reporting
Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews for AGRC, including revenue, compensation, operating expense, margin, and operating income performance.
Prepare insightful management reporting and presentation materials for AGRC and Commercial Risk leadership.
Identify and explain material variances, emerging trends, and changes in the outlook.
Develop and maintain relevant financial and operational metrics, including revenue growth, margin, revenue-to-salary relationships, headcount, hiring progress, and investment performance.
Improve the clarity, consistency, and efficiency of financial reporting while maintaining sufficient detail for business decision-making.
Support QBRs, forecast reviews, planning reviews, and other leadership forums.
Revenue, Expense, and Allocation Management
Develop a detailed understanding of AGRC’s revenue model, including directly billed services, services embedded within broader client arrangements, intercompany activity, and allocations across regions and practices.
Partner with Controllership and business teams to support accurate revenue and expense recognition.
Review and coordinate recurring or complex revenue and expense allocations, including corporate, national, regional, intercompany, and cross-border activity.
Analyze the impact of allocation methodologies on regional and practice results and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Support review and approval of accruals, reclasses, and other financial entries affecting AGRC.
Maintain clear supporting documentation and appropriate controls for significant financial adjustments.
Process Improvement and Financial Governance
Strengthen forecasting, reporting, allocation, and planning processes through better standardization, documentation, and automation.
Improve the quality and traceability of assumptions, adjustments, and management reporting.
Partner across Finance to reconcile discrepancies between business views, management information, and reported financial results.
Support implementation of evolving Finance tools, reporting structures, and planning processes.
Promote strong financial controls, consistent definitions, and clear ownership across recurring processes.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual work while preserving the business insight and flexibility required in a consulting environment.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, controllership, or business-unit finance.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and convert financial analysis into clear recommendations.
Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue and expense drivers, accruals, allocations, and operating margin.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work within recurring close, forecast, and planning deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior leadership.
High degree of judgment, ownership, curiosity, and attention to detail.
Preferred
Experience in insurance brokerage, consulting, professional services, or another project-based service environment.
Experience supporting a geographically dispersed or matrixed organization.
Familiarity with Workday, TM1, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, or comparable financial planning and reporting tools.
Experience with workforce planning, investment business cases, utilization or capacity analysis, and revenue allocation methodologies.
Experience improving or automating recurring finance processes.

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 - $125,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field with relevant FP&A, commercial finance, controllership, or business-unit finance experience.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to partner with business leaders, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
