The Opportunity This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL (Lake Bluff, IL) location in the Abbott Point of Care, Diagnostics Division.

The Senior Contract Analyst will help develop pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization. What You’ll Work On Serve as a subject matter expert in pricing and contract administration, supporting both new and existing product pricing strategies.

Analyze contract terms, pricing structures, customer utilization, and market data to provide actionable business insights and recommendations. Review, validate, and implement pricing requests, customer contracts, renewals, and amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor contract performance, identify pricing discrepancies or risks, and recommend corrective actions to improve outcomes. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Research, and Contracting teams to support strategic initiatives.

Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and analytical tools to inform business decisions and drive pricing effectiveness. Maintain knowledge of healthcare contracting, reimbursement environments, IDNs, regulatory requirements, and market access dynamics impacting pricing decisions. Lead and support process improvement initiatives, market research, and advanced analytics to enhance pricing strategies, operational efficiency, and profitable growth opportunities. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree Minimum 4 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in contract administration, pricing, sales operations, healthcare analytics, or related business functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of healthcare contracting and reimbursement environments. Understanding of IDNs, GPOs, healthcare systems, and provider networks. Experience working with pricing systems, CRM platforms, SAP, Salesforce, or similar business systems. Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar analytical tools.
